Watch: Clark Gregg and Chloe Bennet Tell All on "Agents" Season 3

Inhumans are cropping up everywhere. A shadowy new organization is inching in on Coulson's turf. Freakin' Lash is on the prowl.

That's right—Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is back.

The ABC hit series wasted no time throwing fans right the action with the premiere of the third season. Some time has passed in our heroes' world since we last saw them, meaning the Terrigen that found its way into that supply of fish oil pills at the end of season two is already contributing to the rise of Inhumans all over the place. Daisy (Chloe Bennet) and her kick-ass Quake powers are leading the S.H.I.E.L.D. team to find and help these newly-powered people. Naturally, she and Coulson (Clark Gregg) discovered they aren't the only interested parties in the hunt.

Constance Zimmer's shady Rosalind Price and her Advanced Threat Containment Unit are hot on the trail of the Inhumans, new Inhuman Joey (Juan Pablo Raba) is dealing with his shocking powers and sudden S.H.I.E.L.D. containment, and Lincoln (new series regular Luke Mitchell) wants nothing to do with Daisy's offer to join her team, no matter how much they need his expertise. E! News spoke with Bennet and Gregg about the premiere's events, where we learned that Lincoln's stubbornness will remain an issue for the team. "It's not going to be as easy as I thought, or as the audience thought," Bennet revealed. "It's challenging because we don't see eye to eye on how to deal with these Inhumans."

While the final moments of the premiere assured fans that Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) is, at least, alive, her exact whereabouts—as well what M.I.A. May (Ming-Na Wen) is up to—remain a mystery. Gregg and Bennet were asked about what's ahead for both and the answer was, well, surprising. "May's now on Scandal, and I believe Elizabeth's on How To Get Away With Murder now," Bennet joked. "They've both moved on to other ABC show, so you won't see them back until midseason,"Gregg added.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on ABC.
