WhoSayScott Porter's son is already one popular little boy!
The Friday Night Lights star introduced his baby, named McCoy Lee Porter, to two of his former co-stars, Gaius Charles and Matt Lauria. The actor shared an adorable picture of the moment on Twitter and WhoSay, writing, "Good friends...livin' large in Texas"...and babies. #TexasForever @MattLauria @GaiusCharles."
It was quite the all-male reunion! While all three have moved on to other projects, it's awesome to see how close they still are. Working on the NBC hit show must have left quite the effect on them, as Porter's tweet references Tim Riggins' (Taylor Kitsch) famous words, with the addition of "and babies," of course.
Now where is Kitsch?! In the meantime, we'll just focus on how precious little McCoy's toothless smile is and how big he's getting.
Porter's wife, Kelsey Mayfield, gave birth to little McCoy in May after an intense 44-hour labor. He was born 8 lbs., 5 oz. and 20.5 inches long. The couple first met on the set of Friday Night Lights in 2008 and got married five years later in Austin, Texas. News of their pregnancy first broke when they attended the premiere of Jupiter Ascending in February. People couldn't help but notice the baby bump popping out of Mayfield's ensemble.
McCoy might be only 4 months old, but his dad must have him already memorizing the Dillon Panthers' motto: "Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose!"
Now when can we get an official Friday Night Lights reunion?
