Weddings are bound to bring the waterworks, but this story sets them off on a whole new level…

Brittany Peck got married recently and asked her father, Todd Bachman, to walk her down the aisle. However, as he took her arm to head toward the altar, he did something truly remarkable.

Bachman stopped the wedding, turned around and sifted through the seated guests, seeking out Bachman's stepdad. He grabbed him and pulled him to the aisle beside their daughter so both of them could escort her to happiness and share the moment together.

If you haven't already choked up, just wait…Wedding photographer Delia D. Blackburn was there to capture the chain of events in a series of photographs that are so heartwarming it hurts! One photo even shows the dads with their arms around each other, supporting one another as they hand their daughter off.

Blackburn wrote on Facebook, "Todd Bachman, father of the bride, brought his daughter to the beginning of the aisle… he stopped the procession while people were confused at his actions and he walked up to his daughter's stepfather. Todd reached out his hand and grabbed Brittany's stepfather and pulled him down the aisle to walk their daughter down the aisle together."

She added, "NOT A DRY EYE at the ceremony… including me!"

The photos went viral, garnering over 1 million likes from misty-eyed fans on Facebook and proving that, despite all the diversities of our families, moments of selflessness like this will always be remembered and cherished.
