Annie Hall and The Big Lebowski Are Leaving Netflix and Life Will Never Be the Same

It's time to mourn.

There comes a time in everyone's life when they realize that nothing lasts forever. This is that time.

It's going to be painful, but we can make it through together. Now what are we talking about, exactly? We're talking about the fact that two of the most classic movies in the history of Hollywood will be leaving Netflix in just three short days. Try to keep it together.

The streaming service just announced their lineup of additions and removals for the month of October and included the disturbing news: Annie Hall and The Big Lebowski will no longer be available. No longer will you be able to enjoy The Dude's wild antics. No longer will you cringe at Woody Allen's neurosis. No longer will you be able to marvel at Diane Keaton's kicky pantsuits. And that, friends, is the true tragedy.

But there is hope on the other side! Hope in the knowledge that a whole new batch of flicks and shows will arrive to Netflix in just a few short days. (Oh and also hope in the knowledge that you can just pony up the dough and buy Annie Hall). Perhaps the most intriguing is the premiere of Cary Fukunaga and Idris Elba's child soldier drama Beasts of No Nation on October 16. There's also going to be a great Halloween-appropriate lineup, with American Horror Story: Freak Show and other scary titles. And we'd be remiss if we didn't give shout-outs to stellar titles like Million Dollar Baby and August: Osage County.
