Big books call for even bigger bucks!

After much speculation, multiple reports can confirm that Amy Schumer's first book is becoming a reality.

In fact, the auction for the rights concluded late last week with the winning bid falling between $8-10 million. For those keeping track, that amount is more than twice the $3.5 million Lena Dunham reportedly earned for her first book Not That Kind of Girl.

So what can we expect from Schumer's book? It sounds like some pretty LOL worthy (and truthful) stories.

E!

Publisher's Weekly reported late last week that the book will "explore Schumer's childhood, how she got her big break in comedy, her family and feminism." The book is also described as an "essay collection" by the Emmy winner.

While Schumer hasn't directly commented on specific money figures, the Comedy Central star appeared to have a little fun with the reports on Instagram Wednesday morning.

While texting with fellow comedian Colin Quinn, Schumer played down the money speculation in a hilarious way.

"Heard about the book deal," Quinn wrote. "Trust me. Put that money in a bank!!!" Schumer added, "You have no information and I want far out of your phone." LOL!

It's been quite the week for Schumer who picked up an Emmy for Outstanding Variety Sketch Series with her show Inside Amy Schumer. She even received a surprise from gal pal Jennifer Lawrence in her hotel room.

"We really like each other, but I think the media blew it up," Schumer told E! News. "We're not BFFs. We're just Fs, but we're really good Fs. I have BFFs since I was 8 years old so it'll be tough to uproot them."
