InstagramRob Kardashian is slowly giving us more peeks into his life as he emerges from voluntary seclusion...and a recent Instagram post has raised several eyebrows.
The 28-year-old reality star, who's been absent from Keeping Up With the Kardashians and has rarely been seen in public or online amid more than a year of battling depression and weight gain, posted on his page on Tuesday a screenshot of a text message selfie sent to him by model Karrueche Tran, 27, also known as Chris Brown's ex-girlfriend.
He lists her in his contacts as "Karroooooooooochieeeeeee" and captioned the pic, "I like it when she send me pictures. (sic)" He later deleted the photo.
The two have not commented. A Kardashian family source told E! News they are not an item and that the post was likely a result of Rob's "bizarre sense of humor."
Meanwhile, a second source tells E! News, "They are just friends. They go way back to the good ole high school days. There's absolutely nothing romantic between them. Rob is friends with Chris Brown and took down the Instagram because he didn't want him thinking that he was trying to get with his ex."
Rob also posted on his Instagram page early on Wednesday a photo of French Montana, 30, his sister Khloe Kardashian's ex-boyfriend, leaning against a luxury car next to another man.
"Wolfpack!!" he wrote.
Khloé, 31, and the rapper dated on and off for several months before breaking up in late 2014. This summer, she began dating NBA star James Harden, 26.
Rob and French had remained friends despite his breakup with his sister. Earlier this year, the reality star had taking a social media hiatus and occasionally deleted all of his Instagram photos. He did, however, continue to follow the rapper, who also used Instagram to wish Rob a happy birthday, using the hashtag #wolfpack in a caption of a pic showing the two with a friend.
