Juan Manuel Gómez Fernández and Juan Manuel Gómez Monteverde were kidnapped a little more than two weeks ago after leaving their home in Tamaulipas, Mexico, but E! News has learned that both have been killed.

The victims are the father and brother of Hollywood film producer Alejandro Gómez Monteverde, who is married to former Miss USA Ali Landry. According to reports, the bodies were discovered in Veracruz, Mexico, with severe head injuries. The famous director has yet to issue a statement about his tragic loss, but the producer of his film, Little Boy, Eduardo Verástegui, shared his condolences on Twitter Monday in Spanish.

"With a heart full of pain and sadness, I ask for prayers for my friend and 'compadre' Alejandro Gomez Monteverde and all his family," his tweet reads in English. "My deepest condolences to my soul brother, I love you so much 'compadre,' I put my heart in your hands and I join you in this deep pain."

Alejandro's brother, Juan Manuel, was formerly a business partner at La Perecita, a restaurant with rumored drug cartel relations.

Landry and Alejandro married in 2006 and have three children together.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Monteverde family.
