Jamie Chung sure knows how to pull off the suede-on-suede trend for fall. The trick is to keep it simple when opting for a rich fabric like leather, choosing a deep, fall shade that will make more of an impact. "I love the texture of this Calvin Klein Sheath Dress—it's simple yet classic and sexy," shared the trendsetter.

The centerpiece of this full-on suede ensemble is no doubt the gorgeous plum-colored dress that works well for both work and play. The classic silhouette can easily be dressed down with a pair of flats and a denim jacket for days off or dressed up a bit more like Jamie did here for Macy's Presents Fashion's Front Row show.

To complement her sheath dress, Jamie chose these Nine West Lace-Up Dress Sandals and this Lucky Mini Crossbody Bag—both in black. She kept the overall look uncluttered but still interesting by mixing a simple color palette with textures and design details. The leather of the small bag was enough of a contrast against the dress. "Because the dress was one solid color, I wanted to wear a pair of shoes that really popped with an eye-catching design element," noted Jamie.

For a touch of city-glam, Jamie accessorized with gold bangles and delicate rings for a ladylike touch. To play up the black in her bag and shoes, she added a bulky, unisex watch to toughen up the look. With retro waves and a swipe of red lipstick, Jamie was red carpet ready.
