American Horror Story: Hotel is going to be very bloody this year, according to Sarah Paulson. And we don't think she's just referring to Lady Gaga's The Countess drinking blood because she's a sort of vampire—or whatever her you want to call her ancient blood virus/hemophilia deal.
"I think it's going to be a very bloody season," Paulson says in the behind-the-scenes video above. "It's dark. It's moody. It's hot!"
So we're returning to the term we made up for this season: Crexy. Creepy sexy. Let's make it happen, people!
Here's what else we've learned from the new look at Hotel: the hotel in question, Hotel Cortez, is kind of alive. It's "the hotbed of evil activity," according to Matt Bomer and his new perfect undercut. Check out the video above for an inside look at the biggest character this season—the hotel.
"This building has a heart as black as the ace of spades—and you're sleeping in it," Kathy Bates—or Kathy Bates' character, Iris—says in the video.
The video also gives us this creature, which we will now see in our nightmares forever. Evan Peters, is that you?
The cast of American Horror Story: Hotel also includes Angela Bassett, Wes Bentley, Chloe Sevigny, Denis O'Hare, Cheyenne Jackson and of course, Lady Gaga. Guest actors already tapped for roles include Lily Rabe, Naomi Campbell, Darren Criss, Mare Winningham and expect lots of ties back to past seasons. American Horror Story seasons are connected, duh!
