Jessica Simpson makes a good point.

The fashion mogul took to Instagram Tuesday night to share a few steamy thoughts about her husband, Eric Johnson, on the evening of his 36th birthday. The former NFL tight end and his wife have two children, daughter Maxwell, 3, and son, Ace, 2, and married in 2014. Despite having two young tots in the house, the couple never fails to turn up the heat in their marriage.

"My husband is hotter than yours! Happy Birthday Eric Maxwell Johnson!" the singer wrote on Instagram with a black and white photo of Johnson wearing an unbuttoned shirt. "You forever make me lust." How could she not? Just look at him!

Simpson is well-known for public displays of affection toward her husband, especially on her social media accounts, posting photos of the pair kissing and fawning over sights of Johnson playing with their two children.

The singer is visibly madly in love, a stark contrast from her recent comments regarding her ex-husband, former 98 Degrees member Nick Lachey. While the pair had been married from 2002 until their separation in 2005 and even starred together on the reality show about their life together, Newlyweds, Simpson recently admitted to CNBC's Kelly Evans that the marriage was her biggest financial mistake.

"The biggest money mistakes? I don't know. For some reason I thought of my first marriage," Simpson said. Ouch!

Happy 4yr anniversary baby!! I am so honored to be the mother of your babies and loved by you every moment.

So, what is next for Simpson and her sexy husband? She told Today's Savannah Guthrie to expect some new music now that the recording studio being built in her home is almost finished.

"That project is almost wrapped up. I maybe have, like, three more weeks until it's done and I'm down in my basement recording. I'm sure my kids will completely take over," the multi-platinum singer revealed.

However, don't count on a new reality show starring this gorgeous couple anytime soon.

"That's very rear view," Simpson said. "I mean I'm very open with fans and the media but having a camera on me at all times. I mean, we all know I stick my foot in my mouth a little bit too much so now that I'm a mom, I probably have to keep it together a little bit better."

Imagine cameras capturing son Ace pooping in the grass! Probably a wise decision, Jess.
