For someone who doesn't like working out, Matt Damon sure looks crazy hot.
The actor has gotten totally ripped for his return to the Bourne franchise.
"It's a lot of work," Damon admitted while promoting The Martian (in theaters Oct. 2) at the Toronto International Film Festival. "You know what somebody said to me? They said, ‘It's a lot of no's and not one yes.'
"And that's what it is," he continued. "It's for work. It's the only time I would ever do it is for work. I like to say yes too much. I like burgers and beer. It's been no burgers and beer for a while."
Damon is currently shooting the upcoming fifth installment of the Bourne movies. It marks his first time back as Jason Bourne since 2007's The Bourne Ultimatum.
Producer Frank Marshall tweeted a pic of a shirtless Damon from the first day of shooting. "First day of principal photography complete and happy to report, BOURNE is back! #Bourne2016," he captioned the photo.
"It's painful," Damon said of his workouts. "It's a different thing. I'm 44 now and I feel it definitely." (Even so, that didn't keep him away from helping his trainer Jason Walsh celebrate the recent opening of his new Rise Nation fitness studio in L.A.)
He turns 45 next month.
"We'll probably go have dinner," he said of his upcoming coming birthday plans, before adding that all he really wants for his big day is for "everyone to be happy."
