Lifetime is going authorized for its latest TV movie with Toni Braxton at the center. E! News can exclusively confirm Un-Break My Heart, based on Braxton's memoir of the same name, will retell the singer's life story, touching on her battle with lupus, financial troubles, divorce, her son's autism and her resulting activism and her family struggles.

"Un-Break My Heart is the never-before-told story of the measures Braxton took to make herself and her family whole again, serving as an inspiration to people around the world," the movie's official description reads. Braxton will executive produce the project and appear in the film, but not as herself.

Craig Baumgarten of Twist of Faith, a Lifetime movie Braxton previously acted in, will also executive produce along with Erik Kritzer and Marcus Grant. Mom and Two and a Half Men veteran Susan McMartin is penning the flick and Vondie Curis-Hall of Abducted: The Carlina White Story is set to direct. Production will begin later this year.

Viewers will of course recall "Un-Break My Heart" is also the title of Braxton's hit 1996 song.

Other subjects of Lifetime movies recently include Whitney Houston, Brittany Murphy, Aaliyah the casts of Full House and Saved By the Bell and Gabby Douglas. Douglas is the only one to have participated in Lifetime's dramatization of real life. Other movies about Beverly Hills, 90210 and Melrose Place are also in the works.

Braxton and her siblings appear in Braxton Family Values and Tamar Braxton, like Toni did previously, is currently competing on Dancing With the Stars.
