Justin Timberlake, Baby Silas, Jessica Biel

Justin Timberlake booked a new movie role, and there's no doubt his baby boy Silas was at the forefront of his mind in taking on the gig.

E! News can confirm that the 34-year-old has signed on to star in the DreamWorks Animation musical Trolls alongside Anna Kendrick.

The film tells the story behind the beloved Trolls and their gravity-defying, colorful manes. According to the studio's press release, Timberlake will play Branch—the "hilariously hardcore survivalist who hides his surprising true colors"—and sets out on an epic adventure with Princess Poppy (Kendrick). The quest takes the two far beyond the only world they have ever known and will test their strength and reveal their true colors—with lots of musical mash-ups along the way.

This will be Timberlake's first film since he welcomed his son into the world with Jessica Biel in April—a fitting role to take on being a brand new, first-time daddy!

And speaking of new dads, the "Suit & Tie" singer joined fellow dad and BFF Jimmy Fallon for a hilarious sketch on The Tonight Show Monday night. Proving just how close they are, they communicated only through a series of dramatic glances, like forbidden lovers gazing at each other from opposite ends of the room…only to show that they were, in fact, standing right next to each other.

This is just the latest out of the hilarious duo recently. Last week, the men were caught in an impromptu performance of Beyoncé's "Single Ladies" from the stands of the U.S. Open. That same night, Fallon and Timberlake performed their now iconic "History of Rap 6" medley.

Everything the bromantic couple does is genius...The only thing that could make things better would be a movie announcement together! Interestingly enough, EW reports that Fallon is in talks to play JT's on-screen BFF in the new Trolls movie.

Fingers crossed!
