Jon Hamm may well be suffering from the breakup blues, but Jennifer Westfeldt's ex certainly doesn't look any worse for wear.

On Thursday, the newly single Mad Men star was spotted for the first time since he and Westfeldt publicly confirmed they were splitting after nearly 20 years together. Hamm, 44, enjoyed a casual meal at Little Dom's restaurant in L.A. with two male pals. He greeted one of the guys with a friendly hug before being seated at one of the eatery's outdoor tables. But instead of having a big, boisterous boys' night out, Jon and his buddies kept it low-key and seemed content to just catch up over dinner.

It was just days before that Hamm and Westfeldt, 45, released a joint statement to People magazine announcing "with great sadness, we have decided to separate after 18 years of love and shared history." The former couple noted they would "continue to be supportive of each other in every way possible moving forward."

The breakup announcement came just months after Hamm completed a stint in rehab for alcohol abuse, during which Westfeldt publicly supported him. In April, a rep for Hamm shot down a report claiming he and Westfeld had split, telling E! News in a statement, "The story that appeared in this week's edition of In Touch magazine is not true...The only gentleman Jennifer visited regularly in Connecticut was Jon, while he was in rehab. They continue to ask for the public's understanding and sensitivity during this challenging time."

Hamm seemed to be doing well in the months following his rehab stint, though, and in June he even told E! News about some possible plans to work with Westfeldt again on the big screen. "There's a couple of projects that we have percolating," said Hamm, who starred in Westfeldt's 2011 directorial debut Friends With Kids. "It's one of those things we enjoyed the first time around so hopefully we can find something else to do again."
