Anne Hathaway is a big fan of some unexpected folks in Hollywood.

Looking absolutely stunning as Refinery29's first (Un)Cover star, the 32-year-old Oscar winner opens up to the publication about the Kardashian family, her forthcoming film The Intern as well as her current obsession with Amy Schumer and one wild pop star.

"I used to be like everyone else and think the Kardashians are just famous for being famous. But I've been really impressed with how supportive Kim Kardashian has been of Caitlyn Jenner," Hathaway, who publicly supported Caitlyn after her Vanity Fair debut, admits.

Another female in Hollywood whom Hathaway can't get enough of?

"I am crushing so hard on Amy Schumer," she says (and this, even after Schumer's Trainwreck diss!). "Women like her who have chosen to stand up for themselves and face the bullies are being so embraced. I think that's the new message: Figure out who you are, be happy with yourself, and don't take anything from anyone. Don't let anyone make you feel bad about you. That's something that I've been growing into."

The message is particularly true for Hathaway, who has been blasted by the media in recent years, although her hardships have helped her develop a thick skin.

"It does very much at times feel like we're living in the days of the Coliseum, where people get the thumbs up and you live, or the thumbs down and you die," she says. "But the thing is, you won't die. Sometimes it feels like you will, but you won't die from humiliation on the internet. You have to get really strong and dig down deep and get really tough. For the first time in my life, I'm feeling comfortable. Not settled, not complacent, but just like I can take whatever is going to come."

Hathaway's newfound confidence is why she believes she relates to her character in The Intern (she plays a woman named Jules who runs an online fashion site).

"I don't always relate to my characters, but Jules I really did," she reveals. "It's hard to be a person making mistakes in the spotlight, and I related to her on that level. But she is someone who is handling her stress pretty well."

Other surprising tidbits in the interview include the fact that Hathaway is a massive football fan and she "loves Miley" Cyrus

Perhaps she's more relatable than many first thought.
