Disney Channel cult film Halloweentown, which follows a witch as she helps save a town from other supernatural creatures, is actually real! No, there aren't goblins, witches and other fantastical beings, but there is the actual town. That's right, you can actually visit Halloweentown.
The movie, which premiered 17 years ago (eek!), was filmed in various locations throughout Oregon, according to IMDb. Spirit of Halloweentown sets up shop in St. Helen's, Oregon, every year in honor of the annual spooky holiday. But what began as a local, soft-spoken tradition is now gaining traction, as people living outside of the town have now realized that the annual event pays homage to the classic movie!
In front of the courthouse is a giant jack-o-lantern that receives its very own lighting ceremony every year. Sound familiar? That's because it's the same pumpkin from the movie.

Per Movie Pilot, the town sets up an entire replica of the movie's set, where people can take pictures, tours and dress up in costumes every weekend in October. Storefronts also have scarecrow-building contests and another competition that's referred to as the "Hot-Rod and Hearse" contest, in which people compete for the creepiest hot-rod and/or hearse. Of course, there's a prize for whoever wins.
