Sing it, Demi Lovato

The 23-year-old pop star stopped by BBC's Radio 1 live lounge on Wednesday, where she covered Hozier's hit single "Take Me to Church" and totally impressed with her haunting vocals.

"Who's on their way to @BBCR1?? I almost am!!!" the songstress wrote on Twitter, teasing her performance for her fans.

Likewise, Hozier tweeted a link to Demi's performance, so presumably he was also impressed by her chilling rendition.

Lovato's appearance comes just over a month before the release of her upcoming fifth album, Confident, which is due to drop October 16.

"I'm excited for you all to hear the inspirational/honest/soulful songs on this album," the former Disney star wrote on Twitter last week. "#Lionheart #Father #StoneCold #Confident...Oct. 16!!"

The young beauty, who has been more than open about her struggles with addiction and self-esteem, also revealed, "I'm learning so much every day by this new chapter in my life. I'm no longer the victim. I am the survivor," adding, "What's wrong with being #Confident?"

Lovato most recently performed at the MTV Video Music Awards, where she rocked out in a sexy outfit while singing her hit "Cool For the Summer."

She also defended her performance after Pink took to Twitter and said much of the award show was "gross and embarrassing and hard for this aging pop star to believe."

"Cool For The Summer may not 'save kid's lives' or 'inspire' but I'd say Skyscraper & Warrior have done a pretty good job of helping people cope with mental illness. VMA's are sexy and fun. There's a time and place for everything," the brunette beauty wrote, to which Pink replied, "I never said anything about Demi Lovato or called out anyone. I was talking to a friend in response to his disappointment about the show. I agree w him."
