Camila Coelho is best recognized for her tremendously successful YouTube channel. In addition to sharing makeup tutorials online, the renowned fashion and beauty expert runs a self-titled lifestyle blog. Camila resides in Boston but can often be found traveling abroad, as documented on her Instagram.

To kickoff NYFW, Macy's has partnered with E! Online and the beauty blogger to find out what trends Camila is looking forward to wearing this fall, why she loves living on the East Coast and more.

What makes the fashion in your city uniquely amazing?
Living in New England, I am privileged to experience and dress for the four complete seasons of the year. I'm really inspired by the transition of each season, like when the fall leaves change vibrant colors or the happy vibes that come with spring flowers.

Describe your signature, everyday style in three words.
Feminine and romantic with an edgy touch! This gorgeous Calvin Klein dress* perfectly embodies my personal style.

What's your number one go-with-everything fall staple?
I've been obsessed with ponchos ever since last fall. It's such a versatile trend and great layering piece that goes with pretty much everything in my closet.

What is your best tip for transitioning your summer wardrobe into fall?
Keep your staple pieces and remember that you can always style and layer your pieces in a different way. You can easily make a pair of classic black pants or jeans winter-ready with the addition of something like fur.

If you are splurging your money on anything, what's it on?
I always say that you can never have enough shoes. They are an accessory that can instantly glam up any look. For instance, I love dressing up an outfit with these BCBGeneration Belini Suede Lace-Up Booties.

What fall trend are you most excited about?
Like I mentioned, I am excited to start wearing ponchos and capes this season. I am also a fan of feminine skirts and dresses like this printed Ellen Tracy dress*.

What fashion fad are you ready to see retire?
Lace cut-out stockings. Although they can be vintage and flirty when added underneath a dress or skirt, I've seen it so much that it's time to let go of it.

Tell us about your NYFW travel essentials.
Vitamin C to keep my energy going, a portable phone charger to keep me connected and lip balm and facial masks to keep my skin glowing.

What is your favorite NYFW memory?
My fondest memory is when I met Diane von Furstenberg for the first time during a fitting for her show. She was the sweetest; I love her.

If you can't wear an LBD, what's your go-to evening-out attire?
Usually my option besides a black dress is a high-waisted, A-line skirt, which still gives me that feminine and romantic feel I'm going for.

What shoes do you live in most?
Very high, pointy-toe pumps. They are classy yet super powerful.

If you could only rock one accessory, what would it be?
Shoes! Yes, I admit—I am a shoe lover, especially these Nine West Lace-Up Dress Sandals that go well with both a casual fall look or with evening-wear!

What's the best style advice you've ever been given?
Follow trends but always incorporate them to your own personal style.
