EMA honors green-conscious production in Hollywood

The 2015 Environmental Media Association Awards are just around the corner, and this year's nominees have finally been announced!

The 25th annual EMA Awards are slated to take place on Oct. 24 and will definitely bring many A-list celebs to the carpet with big-name nominees—like Interstellar, Mad Max: Fury Road and The Newsroom—who have emphasized the power of media in Hollywood influencing green-conscious living and working.

"Over the past 25 years of this award show, it never ceases to amaze us of all the great work that has been done to further highlight the achievements of those who lead by example through environmentally conscious programming, filmmaking and production," said Debbie Levin, president of the EMA, in a statement.

"We are thrilled to recognize such socially active, mindful and inspirational individuals, organizations and programming this year."

Nominees aside, many famous faces will be in attendance to honor those leading environmental causes.

Last year, Lance Bass, Jeff Goldblum, Kristin Davis and Malin Ackerman were just a few of the celebs to grace the green carpet for the big night.
