Vivien Killilea/Getty Images for Haute LivingWhile Kylie Jenner certainly isn't your average teenager, the 18-year-old reality star still goes through the same everyday struggles, and she's now using her public platform to shed light on a very important topic.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians stunner has launched an anti-bullying campaign through Instagram, Jenner announced via the photo-sharing site on Monday.
The campaign, titled #IAmMoreThan, will feature the stories of six individuals who have turned their past experiences with bullying into something positive.
"I am so excited to launch my new @Instagram campaign #IAmMoreThan. For the next six days, I will be sharing stories of 6 incredible people who have become heroes in their own way by taking #bullying and turning it into something positive," Kim Kardashian's little sister wrote. "I've gotten to talk and bond with all of these people whose stories you will see on my page. I think you will all fall in love with them just like I did."
She added, "I want to encourage you, my fans, to share something positive about yourselves. I'll be reading as much as I can so that some of you can be apart of this as well! Let's do this. #IAmMoreThan #StopBullying"
Kylie, of course, is no stranger to bullying as she has spent the majority of her life in the spotlight and knows what it's like to grow up in the public eye.
Earlier this year, the young beauty's plump pout became the subject of much speculation, and she later admitted to "temporary lip fillers" although she revealed during an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians why she was so reluctant to come clean.
"Everyone always picks us apart," she explained. "I want to admit to the lips, but people are so quick to judge me on everything, so I might have tiptoed around the truth, but I didn't lie."
Jenner also opened up to her fans about her own experiences with bullying in a late-night SnapChat video posted in June.
"I've been bullied since I've been 9, from the whole world it feels like sometimes," she said. "And I think that I've done a really great job at handling all of this."
"There's bullies everywhere," she continued. "This is just a little late Snapchat to tell whoever with their own bullies that the only opinion that really matters is yours and to never change."
Before any followers could put a spin on her words she added, "This isn't a pity party, though. Don't get it twisted...This is for the others with bullies out there to know that you're not alone."
