Fashion Police is back and better than ever!

In the opening clip from tonight's Video Music Awards special, new Fashion Police co-host Melissa Rivers uses a lint roller to clean up some old clutter left behind from seasons past.

Someone off camera says they're recording and Melissa jokes, "It's been a little bit of a crazy year around here and well, I'm still cleaning up messes, but the good news is Fashion Police is back!" Melissa's roller is shown covered in red and purple hair. Now who could those hair colors be from? Perhaps some old co-hosts who shall not be named? LOL!

Meanwhile, Melissa, Giuliana Rancic and Brad Goreski opened up to E! News about leaving all the past drama behind and starting over a new and exciting leaf. "It's better than it's ever been before," G said.

"We found the fun again today. The fun and the heart and it's fashion and it's celebrity. It is fun. We're not negotiating world peace," Melissa added.

"I know that Joan is just loving this moment," Giuliana dished. "I knew Melissa was going to be good, she exceeded my expectations. She was hilarious, she kept the show moving, she kept it funny and light and just exactly what the show's supposed to be. You can tell that she is her mother's daughter."
