Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer have added Billy Joel to their squad.

The new BFFs and screenwriting partners kicked off their shoes and danced barefoot on the musician's piano at his concert in Chicago Thursday. Lawrence even kissed her friend's feet as they rocked out to the song "Uptown Girl," which is featured prominently in the movie Trainwreck. Inside Amy Schumer writer Kyle Dunnigan posted video on Instagram of the actresses rehearsing with Joel earlier in the day. "Rehearsals a little rough," he wrote, also posting a picture of the group that included the two actresses with the caption "Get ready for a bunch of billy joel photos. Me amy schumer and jennifer lawrence are going on stage tonight." Dunnigan later deleted the video and the photo but did not give an explanation.

Kim Caramele, who is Schumer's sister as well as a writer and producer, also shared a video of the entire group of friends doing the can-can and performing a choreographed routine to Joel's signature song. "Thursday's with @caramelodies @amyschumer @kyledunnigan1 Oh and jlaw," she wrote in the Instagram caption.

Lawrence told The New York Times Wednesday that she and Schumer met a couple months ago and are writing a comedy together. "We play sisters," she said of the project. "We're almost done writing. It just flowed out of us. We've got about 100 pages right now…Amy and I were creatively made for each other. We have different flavors. It's been the most fun experience of my life. We start the day off on the phone, laughing. And then we send each other pages. And we crack up. I'm flying out tomorrow to see her in Chicago. We'll write a little bit with her sister, Kim, who worked with Amy when she was writing Trainwreck."

Schumer has been in Chicago quite a bit this summer. She performed with the Jason Stein Quartet on Aug. 18 and again on Tuesday; the second time, Talib Kweli joined Schumer and her brother on stage. She will perform Saturday as part of in the Oddball Comedy Fest at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre.
