James Franco Congratulates Brother Dave Franco on His Engagement to Alison Brie

Actor sends his best wishes to the couple on Instagram

Talk about some brotherly love!

Just hours after E! News exclusively confirmed that Dave Franco had popped the very important question to girlfriend Alison Brie, the actor's brother is sending his best wishes to the couple.

"Congrats Davy and Allison!!!" James Franco wrote on Instagram Tuesday morning. "Engaged!!! I WUUUUUV YOU ❤."

As for the misspelling of his future sister-in-law's first name, we'll just take it as an innocent autocorrect mistake. That or maybe he is just so freaking excited.

On Monday evening, Brie was spotted wearing a stunning engagement ring at a screening of her new romantic comedy Sleeping With Other People (in theatres Sept. 11).  The Community star's rep would later confirm the new relationship status to E! News.  

While the couple has reportedly been dating since January 2012, both parties have kept their relationship pretty tight-lipped.

Just this past spring, they were able to attend the MET Gala but didn't walk the red carpet together. In June, however, the couple sat next to each other in the front row at the Dior Homme Spring/Summer 2016 fashion show in Paris.
