Demi Lovato turned 23 today and in honor of the special occasion, the singer got the cutest present ever!
The "Cool for the Summer" singer showed off her brand new puppy on Twitter earlier this evening, writing, "Ummm... guys.... meet Batman....."
The birthday girl posted the photo showing the adorable black fluffy pup snoozing on a couch at home.
The furry friend comes at an especially emotional time for the former Disney darling considering that last month her dog Buddy passed away after a tragic incident.

Demi Lovato (@ddlovato) August 21, 2015The singer took to Twitter at the time to announce that her dog with boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama had passed, saying, "We are absolutely heartbroken to be writing this but Wilmer and I are devastated to inform you that we lost our little angel Buddy last Sunday. He was taken from us way too soon in a tragic accident and though I will never know why this had to happen, I do know that God only puts us through situations that we can handle so with that, together we our staying strong."
After an outpour of fan love and support, Lovato posted an adorable collage of her late maltipoo pooch and wrote, "We can't thank you all enough. This has been the most painful week of my life but because Wilmer and I had so much love and support, I've been able to stay strong and will continue to get through this difficult time."
We're glad to see Lovato had a great birthday surprise and we can't wait to see more of Batman!
