Can the world handle more than one Flash at the same time?!

When The Flash returns for its highly-anticipated season two this fall, Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) is going to be seeing double when the original Flash, aka Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears) makes his way to Central City.

Comic books fans know that while Barry is The Flash on The Flash, Garrick is actually the first DC Comics character to take on the mantle of The Flash. And after he was teased with a little Easter Egg in the season one finale (that hat!), the CW series is introducing him for real in season two. Expect him to be a mysterious figure who arrives in town to warn Barry and the S.T.A.R. Labs team of an impending danger that he alone cannot hope to stop.

And now we've got your first look at The Flash's version of Jay Garrick! The CW released the awesome photo at the 2015 Summer TCA press tour, paying special homage to the iconic comic book cover, "Flash of Two Worlds!" And according to showrunner Greg Berlanti, the shot is "an actual moment from an early episode this season."

Yeah, we are already geeking out at the idea of two Flashes teaming up to save the day.

"Having Jay Garrick come onto the show was one of our earliest ideas," showrunner Andrew Kreisberg previously said. "It is so exciting, as we rush into season two, that we finally get to bring the Crimson Comet to life. We couldn't imagine anyone more suited to play the original Flash than Teddy."

The Flash season two premieres on Oct. 6 on the CW.
