Looks like another bronde has caught a case of rainbow hair envy.
Gigi Hadid has never been one to experiment much with her buttery blond locks, save a few tips of the scale between dirty and platinum blond shades. Until now, that is. The 20-year-old supermodel went for a statement-making new look, dying the tips of her tresses an icy tint and creating a blond-to-blue-ombré. Even Gigi's roots appear a tint darker, giving off the effect of a smoky tri-hued 'do.
Making such a colorful hair statement is a bold move ahead of New York Fashion Week next month, in which Gigi will undoubtedly saunter down a few (or dozens of) catwalks. Which may be why the Guess spokesmodel—who's currently in Sydney promoting the brand, FYI—opted for just a subtle blue ombré, considering she's just a trim away from an all-bronde hair color again. Or, another theory suggests that Gigi's blue tips may just be a rinse, and that her ends will be back to their natural blond in no time.
Gigi isn't the only high-profile model to dabble into Crayola hair hues this summer (or even this month), with Georgia May Jagger going full-rainbow just last week. Cara Delevingne gave us all scare when she stepped out with cotton candy pink tresses that—surprise!—turned out to be just a wig.
Now that these it-models have tried it, our next question is this: What Lite Brite hair color will you pick, Kendall Jenner?
