Is this really Jason Bateman? It looks like him and sounds like him, but this guy seems a whole lot creepier.

As huge fans of the comedian, we're all used to seeing him as just that: a comedian. Whether he's scheming up half-brained plans in Horrible Bosses or contributing to the wackiest family in history in Arrested Development, he's always making us laugh. But not this time.

Tomorrow Jason Bateman comes out with a whole new kind of movie...a thriller. The Gift is everything you thought Jason Bateman wasn't: Scary, heart-pounding and something that will haunt your nightmares. (Unless we're talking sexual nightmares, in which case never mind). It tells the story of a man named Simon, who has a run-in with an old high school classmate who turns out to be more than meets the eye.

We don't want to give away too much, but we will say that this old "pal" Gordo becomes very interested in Simon and his wife (played by Rebecca Hall). In fact, he begins to hang around so much that it becomes downright stalker-ish—think finding-the-guy-in-your-window-reflection, peeping-Tom kind of thing. Clearly Gordo and Simon have an old beef that Gordo is not going to take sitting down, and it begins to get dangerous.

But don't think that Jason Bateman is just the innocent victim here. He's got some skeletons in his own closet that make him pretty angry. The Gift hits theaters tomorrow, but we've got a special clip for you to peep ahead of time that lets you in on Bateman's newly-harnessed dark side. We call it The Apology Gone Wrong, otherwise known as Here's What Jason Bateman Looks Like When He's Angry.

Will you ever be able to watch Horrible Bosses the same way again? We're not sure, but we are sure that we like this new side of ol' Jas.
