Take it from one beloved revived '90s series to another, Fuller House!

Ever since it was announced that Full House would be staging a 2016 comeback thanks to Netflix, reuniting all our favorite characters (minus Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen), fans have been counting down the days until DJ (Candace Cameron Bure), Uncle Jesse (John Stamos) and the rest of the gang come back into our lives.

But Full House isn't the first beloved '90s sitcom to decide to reintroduce itself to the world as Girl Meets World successfully revived Boy Meets World in 2014, winning over viewers, old and new, on the Disney Channel.

And when E! News chatted with Boy Meets World and Girl Meets World creator Michael Jacobs at the 2015 ATX TV Festival, we asked him what advice he would give the Fuller House gang about not disappointing a loyal fanbase...

"My words of advice and I love that cast and the people who ran the show, write what's real," he shared. "If you think here's the old show and it dictates what happens in the new show, I think you run into these walls creatively whereas what happened in life, what happened in your life, write what's real. They know that though, they're very good at what they do. I think if you give the audience exactly what they want and expect, the audience becomes fast bored with you. They'll never be bored with this show."

While Bure, Stamos, Bob Saget, Dave Coulier, Lori Loughlin, Andrea Barber and Jodie Sweetin are all set to reprise their roles, there are some new characters Full House fans will be introduced to in the new show: DJ's kids, as well as Kimmy's daughter. E! News was the first to report that newcomers Michael Campion and Elias Harger will play D.J.'s two oldest sons, Jackson and Max, while Soni Nicole Bringas will be Kimmy's daughter, Ramona.

Girl Meets World stars Rowan Blanchard, who plays Cory and Topanga's daughter, and Sabrina Carpenter, the sidekick, are no strangers to the pressure of joining an established and beloved series, and also shared their advice for Fuller House's young newbies.

"You do have to please two demographics, which I've learned is difficult," Blanchard said. "You want to please these kids and you also want to please the adults, so I think Fuller House will have that down for sure. Other than that, I think just go with it because you're going to get a lot of negative hate, but you're also going to get a lot of goodness."

Carpenter also talked about the pressure of living up to expectations, telling E! News, "For me, I had no idea. I knew what I was getting into it, but I didn't know…I was like, ‘how do I be great?'"

Her best advice? Learn from the pros! "You have to learn. It's always learning process. You're going to start season one, you're not really going to get there until the end of the show. So we're always learning every single day," she said. "I think that's the thing you have to keep in mind, just learn from obviously the people are them, they're going to have some of the original cast, which is so great. Just learn from them and  take a lot pf pointers."

Fuller House premieres in 2016 on Netflix. Girl Meets World airs Fridays at 8:30 p.m. on Disney Channel.
