UPDATE: Thompson Square has revealed the sex over their first child. "BOY OR GIRL????" the couple asked on Facebook. "HERE'S YOUR ANSWER." Spoiler alert: They're having a boy!

Country duo Thompson Square shared some exciting news with fans today!
They will no longer just be a family of two! Husband and wife Keifer Thompson and Shawna Thompson wrote on Instagram, "WELL......WE HAVE DECIDED NOT TO BE A DUO ANYMORE!!!!!!! #Jan2016 #T3 #WeDidIt #BabyOnBoard."
The two clinked Diet Coke cans together in the photo. Keifer held up a can that had "Dad" written on it, while Shawna's had "Mom" written on it. The dad-to-be gave a big thumbs up to the camera, and Shawna glowed with a huge grin on her face.
In a statement to E! News Tuesday, the Thompsons added, "We are overjoyed to announce that after 16 years of marriage, we are finally starting a family and are excited beyond words to begin this new journey into parenthood!"
The musicians have created No. 1 hits like "Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not" and "If I Didn't Have You." They took home the ACM Award and CMA Award for "Vocal Duo of the Year" in 2012, and they continued their winning streak at the 2013 ACMs by taking home the very same trophy.
Even with all the musical accolades, Keifer confessed to People, something was missing. "We've been together for a long time and we've done a lot of things and we just really felt there was something missing. We love what we do, we love the music business, but we didn't want to deprive ourselves of having a family."
Their new addition won't slow down their tour schedule though! Shawna said, "We're going to need to turn one of the bunks into a crib and we'll need a changing area. It's going to be interesting."
