First these women dare to remake Ghostbusters with an all-female cast and now THIS?! This is definitely taking it too far. They visited a children's Hospital! The nerve! Look at those smiles on the faces of kids battling cancer and other terrible diseases! Personally, we are disgusted that celebrities would take time out of filming a movie to go and visit with sick people. Thanks, Obama!

We are clearly being sarcastic by trashing Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones for visiting Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. After kids put up signs on the windows of the hospital that read "Who ya gonna call?" and caught the attention of the cast and crew, the four ladies showed up in costume on Saturday as the Ghostbusters, proton packs and all.

Unfortunately, that first paragraph basically sums up how a lot of people felt about the good deed, based on the Facebook comments underneath the photos posted by the hospital.

Liz DuRoss

"Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center patients got a huge surprise today when Ghostbusters stars Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones came to visit!" read the Facebook post. "Thank you for taking the time out of filming today to put a big smile on our patients faces!"

Well, celebs putting big smiles on patients' faces did not sit well with some people. Without going into too much detail because it turns our stomachs and makes us physically ill, here is what people were writing about instead of just being happy to see sick kids get their spirits lifted:

"This is a PR stunt!"
"Who the hell are these people?! Who cares?!"
"Nobody wants them there."
[Something racist]
[Something misogynistic]
[Something racist and misogynistic]
[Something racist, misogynistic and homophobic]
"This movie is going to suck."
"How dare they make an all-female Ghostbusters!"
"Those uniforms look stupid."
"Those proton packs look stupid."
"This is stupid."
"Those women are stupid."

Aren't people just lovely? It got so bad that Tufts Medical Center even had to post a warning to their Facebook page. Think about that. A children's hospital had to remind people not to be a--holes.

Please remember our Facebook policy is that any comments with profanity will be deleted. Thank you.

But hey, if Chris Evans and Chris Pratt dress up as Captain America and Star-Lord and visit a children's hospital, they are applauded and revered and gushed over. We're not saying they don't deserve to get all that recognition because of course they do; we're just saying that Wiig, McCarthy, Jones and McKinnon deserve the same praise.

Because let's say this was a PR stunt. Let's say you hate the movie that you haven't seen one second of and you can't wrap your head around four people with uteruses making a Ghostbusters movie. Let's say everything you hated about this visit was true…can't you just keep that to yourself and respect the fact that the most important part of this day was that the kids got something they desperately needed?

But don't take it from us; let's hear it from the parents who got to witness four awesome women take these kids' minds off of tests, hospital beds, needles, pain and whatever ordeal they are currently facing.

These are comments from underneath that same Facebook posts. Flowers among the troll weeds, if you will:

"That was wonderful of them to take the time to put a smile on my son's face! He's been through soooo much in his battle against Stage-4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma Cancer! This was good for his morale and very appreciated!"

"It's been a lousy week and today has been awesome both because of [their visit] and because [my son] gets to go home."

"My family was having a really rough week. The visit from these ladies was an uplifting treat. It also wasn't just a promo photo op. They asked about him and chatted with us. No matter how you feel about the movie remake, you should do well to remember that this visit meant a lot to the people receiving it."

So congrats to everyone who left terrible, hateful comments about celebrities visiting sick children. We thought finding the worst humans on the Internet would be impossible. But then we found you guys!

Our search is over!
