Solange Knowles is letting us know we're not the only ones who struggle to get perfect curls.

The singer posted a makeup-free snap to Twitter on July 20, showcasing fresh, glowing and, like big sis Beyoncé might say, flawless skin, as well as a sexy peek of her décolletage. Yep, Solange appears to be doing her hair topless. (Again, we've all been there.)

"Gave up. One lil struggle curl later," she quipped alongside the shot.

We don't know what the final coif results were, but we're a fan of Solange's hair whether curly, straight or straight-up voluminous. The star plays with her locks almost as much as she changes her signature quixotic style—so it could be curl today, gone tomorrow for all we know. (But we're happy she keeps us guessing!)
