AKM-GSILena Headey is now a mother of two!
The Game of Thrones actress welcomed a baby girl, and let the world know by tweeting the news to her followers!
She originally revealed the sex of her second child in a guest blog post for PlanUSA.org, which was titled "My Daughter." She made sure to announce her pregnancy herself, but didn't reveal the father's identity. Headey hoped that releasing the news herself would help her regain privacy.
"I'm happy to confirm that I'm having my second child this summer," Headey told People magazine. "I only hope that this announcement can help me to regain some of the privacy I have recently lost to prying photographers and ask that they please respect my privacy and let me enjoy this time."
Her daughter joins son Wylie, whom she shares with ex-husband Peter Loughran. Her divorce wasn't easy, as she told More magazine that it felt like a death even though no one had passed away.
"There's a lot of hurt and sadness and disappointment. Grief. Massive grief," she told the mag. "It's a mourning process, and yet nobody's died."
Now she has two bundles of joy in her life. Congratulations, Lena!
