E! News has learned that the 42-year-old Gone Girl star is currently living in a guest house on the 43-year-old Alias star's $2 million rental property in Atlanta, where she is currently filming her upcoming flick, Miracles From Heaven.
The estranged couple's arrangement seemingly mirrors what one source previously told E! News, saying that their split was "not contentious" and the two both want what's best for their three kids, Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3.
Garner and Affleck, who were married for 10 years, are currently in Atlanta after whisking their kids away to the Bahamas in the wake of their headline-making divorce news. The Argo star, however, is expected to be back in Southern California by the weekend, as he's scheduled to appear with the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice cast at Comic-Con in San Diego on Saturday.
On Wednesday, a source also provided further insight into their split, just after a week after the pair pulled the plug on their marriage. Amid reports that allegations of infidelity and other inappropriate behavior on Affleck's part took their toll on the union, an insider said that their differences in "lifestyle" did hasten the breakup.
"Enough was enough," the source said.
Still, another insider that the pair's united front is no temporary facade.
They "are hanging out and making sure the kids are taken care of. It's actually quite amicable."
We're told construction has been taking place at their home over the last couple months, and the plan is for Affleck to continue to live on the family's property in Brentwood, just in a different house.
