Brody Jenner is setting the record straight: The Kardashians and the Jenners are two separate families.
The Sex With Brody star opens up to Yahoo! Style about sex, Caitlyn Jenner and life in the Kardashian spotlight and revealed that while fans tend to merge the two families together, they're two distinct entities.
"Growing up, we had two completely separate lives," Jenner confesses in the video. Included in those "separate lives" is Kim Kardashian's husband Kanye West.
"To be honest, I don't even really know Kanye that well at all. I've really only met him one time," he adds. "That's the one thing that people don't really understand is that we live two completely separate lives. And everybody ties us in together as the Kardashians and the Jenners."
He also admits that he didn't buy North West a present when she was born and confesses that he found out that Kim was pregnant with a boy during the interview! That's definitely one way to show you're a bit out of the loop.
Despite being two families, Brody admits that he shares a special bond with Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner. He even refers to himself as a "proud older brother."
Although Brody has been vocal in the past about his strained relationship with Caitlyn, he tells Yahoo! Style that their relationship continues to grow even though some of it has been hard to adjust to.
"There have been a lot of things that have been difficult to deal with, but ultimately it's not about me, it's Caitlyn," he explains. "Now Caitlyn is in a much happier place. And you only have one life and it's very short and I think you should be who you are."
But with his new show airing on E! this summer, Brody gives some little tidbits about his views on sex and what he will and won't do in bed, and why he is so comfortable talking about it.
"I think sex is a part of life, and I think it's ok to talk about sex," he explains.
He's as open about what he is willing to try inside the bedroom as he is talking about the dirty deed. "I'll try anything once," he says. After thinking it over, however, he decides there is one thing he won't do.
"No fingers up...you know what I'm saying? Back door's closed," he says.
