Jon Hamm and Jennifer Westfeldt may be reuniting on the big screen.

It's been four years since they first teamed up for her directorial debut, Friends With Kids.

"There's a couple of projects that we have percolating," the Mad Men star told me at the premiere of his new flick, Minions, adding, "It's one of those things we enjoyed the first time around so hopefully we can find something else to do again."

One thing Hamm won't be doing? Starring in Westfeldt's new musical. In fact, she couldn't make it to the Minions premiere because she's in New York doing a workshop of the "brand new musical" with New York Stage and Film.

"Literally no one wants to hear me sing," Hamm said. "It's a dead fact that that's most likely not happening."

In Minions, Hamm voices  Herb Overkill, husband of the villainous Scarlett Overkill (Sandra Bullock).

He appreciated only having to do voice work.

"I never went to work in my pajamas. I have a little more self-respect than that.," Hamm said.  I may have gone in shorts and flip flops. That's about as low as it gets for me, but it is nice to not have to show up at 6 o'clock in the morning for hair and makeup and not have to worry about [shaving] and any of that stuff. So you can actually have coffee there while you're doing it. That part's very nice."

Minions is in theaters July 10.

The cast also includes Michael Keaton, Steve Coogan, Geoffrey Rush, co-director Pierre Coffin and Allison Janney.

"I do love to wear my sweat pants and my t-shirts and I do all my voiceover work in bare feet, too," Janney told me. "I like to just be grounded. The only downside is that you don't get to work with all these wonderful actors who are in this movie. I didn't get to work with Michael Keaton. There's the fabulous Jon Hamm and Sandy over there. It's fun to see everybody. It's a lonely job, but somebody's gotta do it and I'm happy to do it."
