There's a 100 percent chance of pregnancy for Ginger Zee!

On Monday's Good Morning America, the ABC News chief meteorologist revealed she and her husband, NBC News correspondent Ben Aaron, are expecting their first child.

"The forest cast for delivery is in the December," quipped the 34-year-old thrill seeker, adding that having a baby will be "my most extreme adventure yet."

"This is the most nervous I've been in awhile," Ginger admitted. The pregnancy wasn't a total shock to her GMA family, though! "We knew when you came back from Vietnam," said Robin Roberts. "We were all looking at each other saying, 'What's going on here?'"

NEWS: Remember when Ginger Zee fired back at an Internet troll?!

"It's 'cause I was in a mood," Ginger said with a smile.

"Well, that's one way of putting it," Robin answered laughingly.

The mom-to-be enjoys venturing into the unknown—she gone swimming with sharks, skydiving, Nascar racing and just about everything in between—but nothing can compare to what's ahead!

"All the other adventures promise you a return home," she said. "This is like when you get home the adventure's there. That's the big difference—it's why it's so emotional for me, because I'll do anything but this scares me!"

The mom-to-be wants her future little one to join in on these adventures, though! "I think I need to get a BabyBjörn that fits on a paraglider," she joked to People. "Seriously though, we are elated to have the opportunity to be parents. Motherhood will absolutely be my most extreme adventure yet! Can't wait to teach it all my favorite meteorology terms."
