But what sort of candy did they put in it?!

A Donald Trump piñata made its debut at a shop in Reynosa, Mexico, this week, presumably crafted from cardboard, papier-mâché and vitriol following the GOP presidential candidate's hateful remarks about Mexican immigrants after announcing that he was running for the Republican nomination.

The urge to beat at Trump with sticks until lollipops start pouring out came just as he declared that he was banning all Univision employees from his Miami golf course—his response to the Spanish-language station cutting ties with his Miss Universe Organization, also a direct result of his comments.

Trump shared a copy of his memo to Univision CEO Randy Falco on Instagram, the letter reading, "Please be advised that under no circumstances is any officer or representative of Univision allowed to use Trump National Doral, Miami—its golf courses or any of its facilities."

After a few personal jabs, Trump signed the letter and added the postscript:

"Please congratulate your Mexican Government officials for having made such outstanding trade deals with the United States. However, inform them that should I become President, those days are over. We are bringing jobs back to the U.S. Also, a meaningful border will be immediately created, not the laughingstock that currently exists."

Speaking of which...

"If you look up imbecile in the dictionary, you'll see it's a synonym of Trump," journalist Joaquin Lopez-Doriga, news anchor of Univision shareholder Televisa, told his viewers the day after Trump's announcement, Reuters reports.

Meanwhile, in addition to Univision dropping out of airing the upcoming Miss Universe-owned Miss USA pageant, Roselyn Sanchez stepped down as co-host and J. Balvin pulled out of performing.

"Anyone who wants strong borders and good trade deals for the US should boycott @Univision," Trump tweeted earlier today. "@univision cares far more about Mexico than it does about the U.S. Are they controlled by the Mexican government?"
