The Falling Skies star and actress wife Sara Wells welcomed a baby girl on Monday, their first child together, Wyle's rep confirms to E! News.
Daughter Frances Harper Wyle joins brother Owen and sister Auden, Wyle's kids from his first marriage, in the family fold.
The proud parents got married last June (happy anniversary, you two!) at their ranch in Santa Barbara, Calif., and honeymooned in Paris.
"It was beautiful," Wyle said on The View upon his return. "It was great. It was a very small ceremony—we have this little farm in California. We got married on the ranch in front of the barn and then took a honeymoon."
Wells debuted her baby bump, always a standout red carpet accessory, at the Vanity Fair Oscars party in February.
In 2012, Wyle talked about how the tempestuous father-son relationship involving his character on Falling Skies, which begins its fifth and final season this Sunday on TNT, impacted how he approached parenting in real life.
"Paternal dynamics are paternal dynamics," he told The Cinema Source. "And at a certain point, everybody has to figure out when to back off and when you want to insert themselves as parents, when you want to let your kids make the mistakes they inevitably have to make in order to be the people that they are destined to be and when you want to step in and help guide that process and I don't think that ever goes away. My mother still grapples with that issue in my life and it's just playing it out per episode, per scene, per circumstance."
