InstagramNicole Trunfio is, once again, trying to normalize breastfeeding.
The 29-year-old model took to her Instagram page on Wednesday to share two new pics in which she's breastfeeding son Zion, her first child with fiancé and Grammy winner Gary Clark Jr.
"This should be normal #normalizebreastfeeding #womenunite," the mother of one captioned the pic in which she's nursing her son while wearing a lacy black dress.
Of course, this isn't the first time the Australian beauty has come out in defense of breastfeeding. In fact, she previously breastfed her baby on the cover of Elle Australia.
"I didn't think it was going to be such a big deal," Trunfio later said on Good Morning America of the headline-making cover. "There's nothing worse than, as a mother, doing something that's so necessary like feeding your child and feeling like somebody could have an opinion about it or somebody's looking at you the wrong way...it's a huge part of being a woman and motherhood."
Following the backlash the cover received, the brunette stunner defended the pic and said she is proud of the conversation it sparked.
"I'm so proud of this cover and for what it's stands for. I obviously don't look like this while I am breastfeeding but this stands for all women out there, whether you breastfeed or not, we gave birth, we are women, we are mothers," she wrote on Instagram. "Thank you to ELLE for being so bold and making such an encouraging, positive and healthy statement. #womenunit."
