Jimmy Fallon had some kids across the U.S. pen scripts for what they thought a movie called Magic Mike might be about, and then he and Channing Tatum performed them Tuesday night on The Tonight Show.
The results, you might say, were magical.
Scene one's plot followed Josh, a little boy who has a flat tire and "needs help," so he called upon Magic Mike!
"I'm like regular Mike, except magic," Tatum explained to Josh, who was played by Fallon.
When Josh asked Magic Mike how he would fix his bike, he gave a simple explanation. "OK, now, using my magic, I'm going to pump up your bike tire using my magic bike pump."
And so began the sexual innuendo. While Tatum acted out the action of pumping air into a bike, Josh began to wonder what's so magical about a regular bike pump. It turned out, it wasn't so special.
"I guess I'm just Mike," said Tatum, with a hint of sadness.
The second scenario involved Fallon acting as a boss over Magic Mike, whose job was to keep "aliens out of the lovely planet." Unfortunately, he hadn't been doing too good of a job, so he had to be fired. But why he was allowing the aliens to come to earth?
"Because I am an alien," Mike confessed. "In fact, Magic Mike is the king of the aliens muuahahahaha!"
The third and final scene gave Fallon the chance to spread his wings. Instead of playing a boss or a sad little kid, the Tonight Show host played the role of Magic Mike! This time, Channing had to act as a magic bird that was sad.
Because he was so sad, Magic Mike tried to calm him down. But how do you help a magic bird relax?
"I'll blow on your forehead," Fallon suggested.
A questionable plan from the start, blowing on the bird's head didn't help too much (although it's definitely something to look at LOL), so the awesome duo decided to sing together.
