Apparently, Rose McGowan isn't afraid to put Hollywood stars on blast.
Following widespread criticism over the fact that Adam Sandler wore sweatpants to a recent photocall for Transylvania 2 while his co-star Selena Gomez was dressed to the nines in a silky red two-piece set, the 41-year-old actress took to Twitter to publicly shame the 48-year-old funnyman after reading the casting notes for a potential new project.
McGowan shared a photo of the script's notes on her Twitter page, which read as follows: "Please make sure to read the attached script before coming in so you understand the context of the scenes. Wardrobe note: Black (or dark) form-fitting tank that shows off cleavage (push-up bras encouraged). And formfitting leggings or jeans. Nothing white."

She captioned the pic: "casting note that came w/script I got today. For real. name of male star rhymes with Madam Panhandler hahahaha I die."
Brilliant. (And props to McGowan for her rhyming expertise).
This isn't the first time Sandler has stirred up controversy. In April, a Netflix spokesperson issued a statement after approximately a dozen Native American actors reportedly walked off the Ridiculous 6 set, saying they were "offended" by the upcoming movie's stereotypical subject matter.
"The movie has ridiculous in the title for a reason: because it is ridiculous. It is a broad satire of Western movies and the stereotypes they popularized, featuring a diverse cast that is not only part of—but in on—the joke," the company spokesperson said at the time.
Sandler has yet to respond to McGowan's tweet.
