Big Sean's highly anticipated music video for "One Man Can Change the World" is finally here, and the 27-year-old rapper doesn't disappoint in the clip for the deeply personal track.

As fans of Sean know, the tune is a tribute to the musician's late grandmother, who had a profound impact on the hip hop star and inspired him to chase after his dreams.

Ahead of the video's release, the rapper took to Twitter to discuss the song's significance while noting that the video has an important message in the wake of today's racial turmoil.

"Never had a song like this be a single, it's different then what's on radio, but I feel it's needed w/ all the craziness goin on right now..," he tweeted. "Know it's hard to imagine me not cursing on a song/single... (Cues up IDFWU, etc lol). But honestly I'm proud to have a song so heartfelt n real to me be 1 of my singles n not just a album song. I promised myself only music from the heart from now on when I made this album..."

The Detroit native continued, listing off his late grandma's many accomplishments while paying tribute to her legacy.

"I hope my grandma is looking down smiling on me right now. Because the struggles she went through to become a female black captain in WW2, one of the 1st female black officers in Detroit, a teacher/counselor, an amazing mom/grandma were too great for this song not to be a single."

The touching black and white video sees a young boy watching riots on TV before he is confronted with violence in his own neighborhood. But, instead of giving in, the young man, through the guidance of his grandmother, decides he wants to make a difference; he is later seen attending her funeral (Kanye West and John Legend are featured on the track, but they do not appear in the clip).

Sean's grandmother passed away in December 2014. He posted a tear-jerking tribute on Instagram shortly after her death.

"I wrote it about her because she was extraordinary" Big Sean previously told E! News of the tune. "I actually got to put her at the end of a song from a conversation me and her had a while ago. She deserved it, man, she deserved to have John Legend sing about her and how great she is."
