MySpace Tom is still looking good!

The tech entrepreneur (real name: Tom Anderson) was everyone's first friend in the days before Facebook. Back then, the MySpace co-founder was a smiling, nice-looking guy eager to welcome you in to the whole social media-sphere. These days, Tom no longer works for MySpace, but he is still a smiling, nice-looking guy!

The 44-year-old social networking pioneer is happily "retired and traveling the world taking photos" these days, according to his about.me page. Based on his @myspacetom Instagram feed (he embraces the new forms of networking, but as you can tell from the handle, he hasn't forgotten where he came from!) Tom specializes in landscape portraits and scenes from natures. Over two years ago (!) he Instagrammed a rare selfie (which for whatever reason, is getting major Internet pickup now...).

NEWS: Take a look back at Kim Kardashian's 2006 MySpace page!

MySpace Tom isn't smiling quite as much as he was in that original pic (and he has such great teeth, too), but he looks as youthful as ever. Perhaps it has something to do with his diet? In this shot, now a #ThrowbackThursday almost, Tom quipped, "I think Japanese sushi is good for my skin :-)"

That—or retiring young—might just be the anti-aging secret of all time! Tom gets to be a globetrotting shutterbug now, though, because he accomplished a lot in his younger years. On his about.me page, he describes himself as the "Former President, Founder & First Friend of MySpace."

Oh MySpace Tom, don't be silly: First friends are forever! We're glad to see you're doing well and just as cute as ever.
