First comes love, then comes marriage, then a restraining order. Wait, that's not how this is supposed to go, right?

Well, sadly for Lark Voorhies, the Saved By the Bell actress appears to be dealing with a lot of family drama despite the fact that she should be in the midst of a honeymoon phase (not to mention an actual honeymoon) with her new husband Jimmy Green.

E! News can confirm that the actress' mother, Patricia Ann Voorhies, obtained a temporary restraining order against her son-in-law earlier this month.

According to court documents, Patricia claims that her daughter is "psychologically mental and emotionally fragile" and that Jimmy is affiliated with a Los Angeles gang.

Patricia also claims in the TRO that Jimmy threatened her by throwing up gang signs and verbally attacking her.

The newlywed's mother also recalls a particularly frightening scenario where she feared for her life after finding her son-in-law sleeping in her closet.

Jimmy has been ordered to stay 100 yards away from Patricia until the next scheduled court date, which is on June 29.

E! News previously confirmed that Lark married her boyfriend of more than a year  on April 1—in an informal commitment ceremony—followed by a second reception at a Las Vegas chapel with a marriage license on April 30.

The actress began dating the music engineer over a year ago after they met on Facebook.

Jimmy spoke with E! News regarding the restraining order and he told us that his "evil" mother-in-law "just wants to control her daughter" and "has her own agenda."

He added, "Lark is changing my life. Lark is beautiful…She's the best thing that happened in my life."
