Even when physically scattered to the four winds, the Cyrus family sticks together like glue in spirit.

"We were just raised that way," model and TV personality Brandi Cyrus told E! News last night at the 2015 CMT Music Awards, where she joined dad Billy Ray Cyrus on the red carpet. "Both of our parents are so amazing and we've just always been raised to support each other and love each other no matter what, because family is the most important thing."

"Everything else comes and goes," Miley Cyrus' look-alike older sis added. "Everything else is so inconsistent but your family is who‘s there and that's what matters. I love that that we can all support each other."

As for Billy Ray, who presented alongside fellow CMT star Kellie Pickler last night, he's pretty happy with how his brood has turned out so far. (Youngest daughter Noah is only 15, so he and wife Tish are still busy raising kids.)

"I'm just proud that they're happy and that they're doing what they love," the former Hannah Montana star told us. "All the kids are creative, they love writing songs, singing, acting. For me, to see my kids be happy, that's all I can ask for as a dad. I just want to see everybody living life and being happy and pursuing their dreams and whatever turns them on creatively—it's always an evolution, you know."

That's for darn sure.

It sounds as thought father and daughter had a blast last night, meanwhile, with Brandi tweeting today, "i think i'm going to need an entire week, to recover from CMA week." Her partly sheer dress also made quite a splash and she also thanked her glam squad Thursday for the edgy look.
