Although it has been confirmed that Victoria Siegel, daughter of billionaire David Siegel, struggled with an addiction to prescription drugs prior to her death, her mother says that she was also a victim of cyber bullying, which might have contributed to her passing.

In an interview with WFTV at Victoria's memorial Tuesday, Jackie Siegel told reporter Jorge Estevez that she thinks her daughter was self-medicating to help deal with a cyber attack.

"I don't think (she) had any intentions of killing herself. I think she just wanted to soothe the pain she was going through," said Jackie.

"This should've been a happy time of celebration where I would have been walking her down the aisle and she would have started a new life as a new wife and a new mother," said David. "Instead we are having to bury her."

Her cause of death is still unknown, as toxicology reports are still pending.

"It is likely that Victoria ingested one or more drugs prior to her death," the Siegel family's spokesman said. "However, we cannot determine at this time whether or not the drugs she took were in fact prescribed medication, something else, or where and how these drugs may have been obtained."

According to the family rep, Victoria had a history of seizures, which was treated with prescribed medication. "Unfortunately she became dependent and struggled with this condition.," he explained. "She voluntarily underwent rehabilitation and was working hard to address this problem."

Jackie confirmed her daughter's death via Facebook Sunday. "The family is deeply appreciative of the outpouring of support that they have received and request that their privacy be respected while they mourn their loss," the rep said.

The couple, who are best known as subjects of the documentary Queen of Versailles, and their seven children are "devastated and heartbroken by the loss of their beloved Victoria. They are hurt, deeply wounded and they are grieving. Victoria was a beautiful spirit with a wonderful smile who was greatly loved, and will be deeply missed."
