Watch: Raven-Symone on Caitlyn Jenner as Guest on "The View"

Raven-Symoné only officially joined The View as a permanent co-host on Wednesday, but she's already set her sights on a dream guest: Caitlyn Jenner!

"I think Caitlyn Jenner is a very brave woman," the 29-year-old TV personality told E! News. "I think she has done a lot of things that will inspire many other people in the world to journey down their truth path...and I'm sure she would love us!"

(With the release of her Vanity Fair cover on June 1, Caitlyn has chosen to publicly identify as a woman and E! News will refer to her using female pronouns. In stories published prior to this date, Caitlyn was referred to as Bruce and male pronouns were used.)

Raven has been an outspoken supporter of the LGBT community, but as she told Oprah Winfrey quite clearly last year on OWN's Where Are They Now?, she herself doesn't want "to be labeled 'gay.'" Instead, she explained, "I want to be labeled 'a human who loves humans.'"

That sounds reasonable. Raven has backed up other celebs, like fellow former child star Miley Cyrus, who don't necessarily want to identify as straight, gay, bisexual or any other strictly categorized sexual orientation. As the Cosby Show alum put it on The View, "...we should not be labeled, because that creates tension between people...Let's just be human and call it a day!"

Raven also fully appreciates other public figures, like Caitlyn, who in sharing their personal stories are helping us as a society to become more accepting. Watch the clip above to hear more from Raven about Caitlyn and why she's so moved by the support she's received from different types of people all around the world!

Tune in to the premiere of Caitlyn's new E! docu-series I Am Cait on Sunday, July 26, at 9 p.m., only on E!
