Jessica Chastain and Bryce Dallas Howard are not the same person.
Well, that settles that!
We already knew they were two separate stars, but obviously there are some in the world who didn't—and now there is a hysterical Dubsmash to confuse them even more.
And at long last, the similarly redheaded actresses decided to have some fun and get in on the joke too.
You see, there is a hysterical Youtube musical about the Jessica-Bryce comparison featuring clips from both of the actresses' films and a voice-over by a woman who is singing as if she were Howard begging to differentiate herself from Chastain.
Are your heads spinning yet? Because ours are.
Then a couple of days ago, Chastain shared a Dubsmash video that utilized the Youtube parody's music on her Instagram. You follow so far?
At the start of the video you a see a beautiful redhead wearing sunglasses and a cream blazer lip-syncing, "but it's time I put an end to the confusion...I am not Jessica Chastain!"
The sunglasses finally (and dramatically) come off and...
It's Bryce Dallas Howard!
Mind. Blown.
The Jurassic World star told reporters at the film's L.A. premiere how this awesomeness came to life: "My friend emailed me about that [musical] video yesterday, and it had just posted two days ago. I was like, 'This is brilliant!' And he said, 'You should totally do a Dubsmash,' so we did it..."
Howard then sent the video to Chastain and the rest is history.
"[Jessica] was like, 'OK, this is totally a thing. We need to use this power for good, and do a movie together playing sisters,'" Howard added.
