If boots were made for walking, then Gianvito Rossi heels are made for some serious red-carpet struttin'.

In fact, its sleek, pointy-toe Plexi Pump has been a celebrity favorite for a few seasons now, with fans including Selena Gomez, Sophia Bush and Khloé Kardashian. Considering its transparent side paneling, colorblock options and relative comfort factor, the Italian stunner is a shoe-in for the next It stiletto. And though this particular style is considered reasonably priced in comparison to some next-level offerings from its luxury counterparts (read: Manolo Blahnik, Christian Louboutin and Jimmy Choo), at €540, or about $611, it's definitely way more than a pretty penny.

Is this pair of pumps worth your hard-earned money? Let's put things in perspective.

Kailey Strachan for E! Online

MTA single ride: New Yorkers, why take the subway or bus when you can walk…in these ever-so-chic pumps! You might not be able to last in those stilettoes for 222 trips to and fro but you'll look damn good along the way.

IKEA Swedish meatballs: Was there ever an IKEA trip that didn't end in meatball and soft serve goodness? At $5.99 for a plate of 15 balls (mash and lingonberries included), you can eat a tiny baby's weight in what it'll take to pay off those shoes.

GBs of wireless data: Another Instagram pic, another data overage free. At $15 per GB at carriers like Verizon and AT&T, it may come down to watching Grumpy Cat's latest video or calling these designer shoes yours.

IMAX 3D movie tickets: You could live the virtual experience of every big blockbuster this year for about $20 a pop…or you can walk in the shoes of a true style star—you!

Victoria Secret Semi-Annual Sale: Is it us or this sale always going on? Either way, 5 cotton or lace panties for $27 is a pretty good deal—and possibly a lifetime of underwear.

Starbucks iced coffee: No coffee makes this editor crazy. Then again, it may be worth kicking the habit—at $2.95 per venti—for those shoes.

SoulCycle classes: The endorphin high may be addicting, but at $30 a class, the Plexi Pumps might be the perfect excuse to skip the workout.

Netflix subscription: At $7.99 a month, could we really go without our friends from Orange is the New Black, House of Cards and 30 Rock for almost six years?

Del Taco goodness: Two words: Taco Tuesday. Yes, you know it from your fond memories as a broke student (or after a late night), when $1.09 got you three delicious, not-so-healthy tacos. But, hey, you'll burn more calories in the shoes.
