Watch: Meet the New "Housewives" Star Meghan King Edmonds

There's some new blood in Orange County and she's not afraid to mix it up. Meghan King Edmonds, wife to baseball player Jim Edmonds, is now part of The Real Housewives of Orange County. Watch out, ladies!

"Of course," Meghan said when asked if she hesitated in joining the show. "I think anytime that an individual would go on reality television and put your entire life out there, that's scary. I mean, I think i know who I am but then maybe you see yourself in a different light when you see yourself actually behaving and reacting and facial expressions on television. that's nerve-racking."

Meghan said it was easy to gel with Tamra Judge and Heather Dubrow, but Shannon Beador and Vicki Gunvalson took time.

Meghan, who is closer in age to Jim's daughter Hayley than she is to her husband and some of the other ladies of RHOC, comes into conflict with OG OC Housewife Vicki. Anybody who's ever seen an episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County knows it's best to stay on Vicki's good side. Meghan said be on the lookout for Vicki's "grilling" on her family life. Viewers also got a glimpse of a showdown between the two women in the Real Housewives of Orange County trailer, where it looks like the two have very differing opinions on Vicki's boyfriend's cancer battle. Hayley's biological mom, Lee Ann, is battling cancer. "It's so hard, she's not doing well," Meghan said.

Meghan told E! News' Ali Fedotowsky about her unique living situation—she lives with step-daughter Hayley full-time in California, while husband Jim lives with two other kids half the time in St. Louis. "I love the kids, and I took it on," she said. "It's hard, but I'm happy to do it."

This season viewers will a lot, including a baptism and the ladies swimming with sharks! "I think it's a really good season this year. We have a birth, my granddaughter, we have a death, we have everything in between," Tamra told us at the NBCUniversal Cable Upfronts. "It's really real life stuff going on. It's not like, ‘You didn't invite me to a party! You took my chair!' It's not that stuff..."

"You're going to see a lot of real," Shannon teased. "With all of us."

The Real Housewives of Orange County premieres Monday, June 8 at 9 p.m. on Bravo.

(E! and Bravo are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
